Basic Activity Information

Location: Song Dynasty Drill Ground (Grand Performance Field), Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden
Daily Sessions: 10:30 AM & 3:00 PM (adjustable on holidays and peak seasons). Arrive 15–40 minutes in advance for good seats.
Fee: Completely free for all garden visitors
Applicable Crowd: Open to visitors with flexible physical coordination. The elderly, pregnant women, young children, people with physical disabilities or underlying diseases are only allowed to watch, not participate.
Feature: Restores the traditional saddle-and-stirrup-free mounting skill of Song Dynasty cavalry, offering an immersive ancient military experience.

Official Challenge Rules

This is a public physical challenge with fair and clear judging standards:

No Auxiliary Tools: No stirrups, stepping stones or platforms. Participants must mount the horse purely by running and self-strength.
Safety Guarantee: All horses are well-trained and docile. Professional staff will hold and control the horse throughout the challenge.
Success Standard: Jump onto the horse steadily with an upright sitting posture without shaking or losing balance.
Failure Judgment: Failure to land steadily, touching the ground for support, or unbalanced posture counts as a failure.
User-friendly Rule: Female visitors and beginners are allowed slight assistance from companions to reduce difficulty.
