Kong Xiangxi Former Residence is a historic site where Chiang Kai-shek once visited

My family and I visited here during the Spring Festival this year.

Kong Xiangxi Former Residence is located in Jinzhong, Shanxi Province, a typical ancient courtyard complex of Shanxi merchant architecture. Built in the traditional northern Chinese style, the mansion boasts exquisite wood carvings, brick carvings and stone carvings. As the former dwelling of H. H. Kung, an important historical figure, it is now a famous cultural tourism spot and protected historical property, attracting numerous tourists every year. My family and I toured the residence during this year’s Spring Festival.
