A National Geographical Indication product from Xinzheng, Zhengzhou, Henan, China. With 8,000 years of cultivation history (carbonized jujube seeds from the Peiligang Culture site), it is hailed as “China’s Hometown of Jujubes”. Grown in the Yellow River alluvial sandy soil with a large day–night temperature difference, it features thin skin, thick flesh, small pit, and honey sweetness. Rich in vitamin C, amino acids, and flavonoids, it is known as a “natural vitamin pill”. Major varieties include gray jujube and heart-shaped jujube.
